Public’s Assistance Needed In Locating Armed Bank Robber

Authorities are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying and locating an armed bank robber who is responsible for three Atlanta bank robberies.

On Wednesday, September 30, 2009, a man entered the Wachovia Bank on Chesire Bridge Road and ordered everybody to put their hands up. After receiving money from the tellers, he fled in a gray or silver vehicle.

Police said on Thursday, December 03, 2009, the same suspect robbed a Wachovia Bank, on Peachtree Industrial Blvd. On Tuesday, November 30, 2010, he also robbed the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 3393 Northside Parkway.

During one of the robberies, the suspect stated: ”I just want my TARP money back, and at one point during another robbery, he apologized to customers indicating that he wanted the bank’s money, according to police.
