Porn star Jennifer Marchant stabbed father of her child to death with kitchen knife

Retired New York po actress Jennifer Marchant entered a plea of not guilty Monday to second degree murder in the stabbing death of boyfriend Ralph Stone.

Marchant, 23, was arrested Wednesday night when police and paramedics responded to a domestic disturbance call at her apartment.

They arrived to find Stone, 24, bleeding from a single stab wound to the neck.

He was pronounced dead shortly after emergency services reached him.

Police say she stabbed him to death with a kitchen knife.

Stone was the father of the couple's two-year-old daughter.

Marchant is being held without bail.

Police were unable to provide a motive and both partners had a history of arrests. 

Marchant worked as an adult entertainer until she retired last year.

Performing under the name Scarlett Rouge, her Twitter account said she was no longer making adult films. 

Mother Michelle Stone told reporters she could not believe her son was dead.

'To know him is to love him,' she told the Examiner. 'He was just a fun-loving kid with a really big heart. He worshiped his daughter. She was premature and he was there all the time.'

Michelle said Ralph was ready to start a job at National Fuel and start at the University at Buffalo Law School after a recent rough patch.

'(They) had a few spats but every relationship does,' she said. 'But as far as I know, they got along well. She came for Christmas. She seemed like a real nice girl.

'Everything was tuing around positive for him. We were very proud of him,' she said.
