Police: Student Extorted Money, Grade From Teacher Jonas Magdangal After Sex
Jonas Magdangal, 55, of Smyrna, was arrested on Dec. 31 for sexual assault.

That 17-year-old is now wanted for extorting money and a better grade from him in exchange for her silence.

Jonas Magdangal, 55, of Smya, was arrested on Dec. 31 for sexual assault.

Smya police say he drove the victim to a local motel where they had intercourse.

Investigators say the victim later extorted money and an "A" from the man to keep the encounter secret.

Magdangal was a teacher at Campbell High School.

The teen's parents indicated she would surrender to police soon.
