Police Seek Suspect in Acworth Assault
ACWORTH, Ga. - The Cherokee County Sheriff's Office released a composite photo of a suspect wanted in connection with the sexual battery of an Acworth woman.
Cherokee authorities say on March 2, the woman reported that after dropping her child off at the bus stop she was walking back to her residence in the Shadowood Mobile Home Park off Bells Ferry Road when she was approached by a man driving a white Ford Ranger.
Police say that according to the victim the male asked if she would be interested in cleaning his home for money. She then entered the vehicle and he drove her to a nearby subdivision and parked in a driveway. Neither the suspect nor the victim exited the vehicle.
According to the victim the male sexually assaulted her before driving her back to her neighborhood. The victim received no physical injuries, say police.
