Police seek help in identifying person of interest in murder case

Atlanta police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a person of interest in a homicide investigation. Officers said that someone had shot and killed a mechanic outside an AutoZone on Campbellton Road in Southwest Atlanta. The victim was later identified by friends as 53- year- old Curtis Jackson.

The surveillance video from the store shows a man with a red hat entering the business. The man has been questioned by police in regards to the murder. According to witnesses, Jackson was involved in an altercation with someone before the gunfire started. Officers have yet to make an arrest in the case.
