LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - Gwinnett County police say they are looking for an armed and dangerous man who shot his roommate in Lawrenceville.
Christopher Joseph Kemp, 35, is wanted for one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Authorities say the incident occurred Sunday afteoon in the 2000 block of Prospect Road. Officers were rsponding to a report of a man shot.
They found 35-year-old Justin Lopes suffering from a gunshot wound. Lopes was transported to Gwinnett Medical Center in Lawrenceville where he is listed in critical but stable condition.
Police identified Christopher Joseph Kemp, 35, as the shooter. Kemp is currently wanted to one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He is considered armed and dangerous.
