Police: Secret Camera Recorded Girl In Shower
Lamar Brayboy-Hayes

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -- Suwanee police arrested a man on Wednesday who they said secretly recorded video of a young girl in her own bathroom.

Officers told Channel 2’s Manuel Bojorquez the video was recorded on a camera that looked like a keyless entry remote control for a vehicle.

A woman found the camera in her car, according to police. "One of her friends left the vehicle and they found what appeared to be a keyless entry remote," said Suwanee police Capt. Clyde Byers.

"At that point, when it started playing, they realized it was some sort of recording and they recognized the bathroom in the home that it was in." Byers said.

The recording captured a glimpse of Lamar Brayboy-Hayes, 18, setting up the camera in the bathroom of the home of a family friend, according to police.

The camera also captured images of a minor, authorities said. "They saw a young lady enter the restroom and take a shower. When they recognized the young lady they brought it down here and tued it in to us," Byers said.

Brayboy-Hayes is in the Gwinnett County Jail on peeping charges and surveillance invading the privacy of another.

Police said they interviewed Brayboy-Hayes, and he gave information that led detectives to believe the camera was his.

Bojorquez went to the home of Brayboy-Hayes, but his family declined comment
