Police release sketch of suspect in sexual assaults
DeKalb police have released a sketch of a man suspected of trying to sexually assault at least four women along the Hambrick Road Corridor near Memorial Drive and Rockbridge Road.
Police say the incidents occurred between October 1 and 20th.
In each case, the victims were walking alone near Hambrick Road when the suspect approached them from behind and engaged them in brief conversations.
Police say when the women tried to walk away, the suspect inappropriately touched them and then tried to remove their clothes.
"He engaged them in conversation. As the women attempted to walk away, it was at that point that he touched them inappropriately and in some cases, attempted to take off an item of clothing," said Mekka Parish of DeKalb Police.
Brittney Graham walks to and from work in the area every day. She hopes the predator is caught right away.
"I am a young female walking and this is my area, and I do have to walk that long distance. So it's kind of nerve wracking to know that," said Graham.
All of the victims escaped with only minor injuries.
