Police Hollice Eason, Hosea George, David George dead in Carroll County accident
CARROLLTON, Ga. -- Three people died Thursday night in an accident on a Carroll County highway, according to a spokesperson with the Georgia Department of Public Safety.
Police say the driver of a silver Nissan Altima, identified as Hollice Eason, 61, of Carrollton was traveling west on Ga. 166 and crossed the centerline of the roadway and struck a car that was going east. The accident happened just inside the Douglas County line.
The driver of the the other vehicle a Nissan Maxima was Hosea Clay George, 43, and the passenger was David Clay George, 25, both from Carrollton.
Both drivers died on scene and the passenger of the hit vehicle died while being transported to the hospital.
Investigators believed the driver failed to maintain her lane, which caused the crash.
