Woodstock man Anthony Couse arrested for making car bomb sign
A Woodstock man is in jail on Thursday, accused on making terroristic threats and false public alarm.

A Woodstock, Ga. man was charged with terroristic threats because of two signs he left on a stranger's car, police say.

According to Cherokee County authorities, deputies were sent to the Town Lake Hills subdivision in Woodstock conceing a suspicious vehicle on Lexington Avenue on Wednesday. When deputies arrived at the scene they found a car with signs on its front and back windshield that read, ”Car Bomb and ”50 Foot Clearance I.E.D."

Deputies shut down the street and called in K-9 units and investigators.

The car was found to be safe.

The owner of the vehicle, Dee Dee Doekel, told investigators that she had pulled her car over due to a flat tire, but was planning on coming back later in the afteoon to fix it. Authorities said she was parked legally in front of the house where 43-year-old Anthony Richard Couse, III, lived with his stepmother.

Investigators say Couse was upset about the car being parked in the street and placed the signs on the car. He then posted the photos on Facebook.

Couse was arrested and charged with false public alarm and terroristic threats. He remains in custody at the Cherokee Adult Detention Center with a $22,400.00 bond.
