HABERSHAM COUNTY, GA  — An eighteen month investigation resulted in the arrest of 3 people after several heroin overdoses in Habersham, White and Banks counties, according to authorities.

On Tuesday deputies executed a search warrant in the 500 block of Twin River Orchard Road, and along Highway 4172 and Highway 2555.

Police say they found about $7,000 worth of heroin, and accuse the arrested individuals of trafficking about $100,000 worth of heroin.

Michelle Dorsey, 45, is accused by police of operating the alleged trafficking organization. She was arrested and charged with trafficking heroin and possession of marijuana.

Nigel Waddell, 28, was also arrested and charged with trafficking heroin and possession of marijuana.

Tyler Matthews, 26, was arrested and charged with trafficking heroin.

All three suspects were booked into the Habersham County Detention Center.
