Police accuse Newnan woman Catrina Cannon of flashing children
Newnan authorities say they arrested a woman for performing a lewd act in front of children at a playground around 7:30pm.
Police charged Catrina Cannon, 31, with indecent exposure, cruelty to children and an alcohol offense after they said she paraded around with her pants down and sexually taunting the boys.
Investigators said she is also accused of pushing a little girl to the ground and demanding money, but when she didn’t get it, she started becoming very verbally abusive and pelted the child with beer bottles.
Police said she smelled of alcohol and was disoriented when they arrested her. She told police it was her husband’s birthday and she wanted to go home.
Police confirmed Cannon has a criminal history that involves prostitution and indecent exposure as well as drug offenses.
