A pedestrian was hit by a car oveight in Clayton County, authorities say.
It happened in the eastbound lanes of Highway 138. Officers say there was no crosswalk in the area, and the person who was hit was rushed to the hospital.
The victim was said to be in critical condition, and that person was not immediately identified.
The driver of the car is not expected to face charges, and investigators say she did pull over at the scene.
