Officer-Involved Shooting Leaves 1 Dead in Morgan County
MADISON, Ga. -- Police are investigating what lead to an officer-involved shooting in Morgan County.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said a trooper shot a suspect at about 8 p.m. Saturday who was believed to be involved in a shooting earlier in the day in Madison.
The suspect person is dead, according to investigators. The GBI said the officer was not harmed in the shooting.
Little information is being released from investigators.
The GBI said the shooting is under investigation.
