Oconee Man Budge Earl Williams accused of viewing child porn at library
A former newspaper columnist is accused of viewing child po at the Oconee County Library.
Patrons complained to library staffers that 70-year-old Budge Earl Williams was looking at sexually explicit photos of young boys and then printing them.
Officers arrested Williams, a former columnist for the Athens Banner-Herald. He is charged with criminal attempt to commit sexual exploitation of a minor. He's also on federal probation for a weapons violation.
