Obama, Putin on very awkward first date
"See you later. Oh, you're, right, you're going this way? Me too."

BARACK Obama and Vladamir Putin have held talks at the G8 summit in Northe Ireland.

The relationship between the American and Russian presidents appeared, well, cool, to say the least.

This series of photos taken at the Lough Ee resort suggests they're more likely to be on an awkward first date than thrashing out key political issues between two of the world's super powers.

Can someone get these guys a beer?

Obama and Putin.

"I really must call ahead and have my chefs to put a roast on."

Obama and Putin.

"Yeah. I see you. Don't look away. Look at me. Hey. Look at me."

Obama and Putin.

"So we called him 'Bo'."

Obama and Putin.

"I knew I should have wo navy. You're killing me."

Obama and Putin.

"So. Um. Yeah. Hey. Do you watch Game of Thrones?"

Obama and Putin.

"This was nice. Let's do this again. (Never.)"

Obama and Putin.

"Why'd you call us back here? I've got courtside tickets for the Lakers."

Obama and Putin.
