"I ran all the way over there to see what was going on. In the driveway, there was a lady that was covered in who knows what. It looked like her clothing had melted on to her," Bucur said.
"I was looking down the street and I saw some smoke so I ran down here and I saw the lady just dousing herself, you know with the water," said witness Roland Koffi.
Myong Hui Pak was taken to Grady Memorial with life threatening injuries.
Na Yong Pak was arrested and charged with aggravated assault. The Norcross Police Department has since secured a felony murder warrant for her Myong Hui Pak's death.
"I know they had a history of domestic situations so this kind of doesn't shock me, but it does shock me to the extent of what happened you know this is. I've never seen anything like this," said neighbor Rashard Thurman.
"It's kind of cruel what some people do to each other. It's family, how can you do that to someone you actually should care about?" Alex Bucur asked.
