Norcross Man Ming Zhang, Charged With Trying To Sell Immigrant

FLORENCE, Ala. -- A Norcross man is being held on $250,000 bond in Florence, Ala. after being accused of trying to sell an immigrant to a business as a laborer.

Florence police Detective Justin Wright said 49-year-old Ming Zhang was charged last week with second-degree human trafficking.

He was being held at the Lauderdale County jail on Wednesday.

Wright said Zhang apparently brought the 25-year-old man, who is from Honduras, to Florence with the promise that he would get the man a job.

Wright said apparently a dispute between the two erupted and the man got out of Zhang's car and called 911.
