NJ teen Kara Alongi missing after mysterious tweet about someone in her house
A girl's call for help via Twitter is drawing global attention. Kara Alongi, a 16-year-old from New Jersey, has gained thousands of followers after Tweeting "There is somone in my hour ecall 911" Sunday.
Alongi is now listed as missing.
Police told NBC New York they don't believe Alongi is in any physical danger.
According to the report, thousands have re-tweeted her message and the hashtag #helpfindkara is trending on the social network.
NBC 4 New York reports police responded to Alongi's home Sunday evening. When the media outlet called her home for comment, someone quickly answered and said "no comment."
“There is somone in my hour ecall 911,” Kara Alongi tweeted shortly before she disappeared.
