Friends say Atlanta musician and massage therapist Steven Marchi left the house he shares with a roommate on August 12 and hasn't been seen or heard from since.

ATLANTA - Friends and family are conceed about a local musician who has been missing for more than two weeks.

Friends say Atlanta musician and massage therapist Steven Marchi left the house he shares with a roommate on August 12 and hasn't been seen or heard from since.

”It’s been well over two weeks and not a peep anywhere from him, said his friend Kelley Hagen.

He was reported missing to DeKalb police on August 22.

Friends say March left his home without his cell phone or his guitar, which they say have significance to him.

”His cell phone was here, his computer and, most importantly, his guitar and all of the stuff he loved the most was left behind, Hagen said.

The computer was left tued on, the notebook he carried with him and wrote songs in everyday was left open, according to Hagen.

Marchi, a vegan, had just bought his groceries hours earlier and portioned out his vegetables for the week.

”That's just not something that you do when you're planning on being away for awhile, said Hagen. ”It doesn't seem right. Knowing Steve, this doesn't feel right.

Marchi had just finished up recording his first album, and was weeks away from heading on the road with it.

”He was going to take his CDs and guitar and go hit the road for a couple of months and then come back with some new songs," Hagen said.

Friends say Marchi hasn't used his bank account, his email or Facebook in the past two weeks.

”He's definitely a free spirit but he's not reckless and he's not inconsiderate, said Hagen.

A missing person report has been filed and police are investigating.

Close friends like Hagen are worried what could have happened.

”He's a single a guy, so his friends are kind of like his family, so he always lets us know if he's going somewhere so that people are aware, she said.

Marchi was last seen in his green truck. It has a camper on it with Illinois license plates.

Police said there is no evidence of foul play, but they are look for any leads. Anyone with information regarding Marchi is urged to contact authorities.
