MILTON, GA  - Police arrested a Milton man on May 3 on charges of possessing child poography.

Kendall Latrell Bowen was arrested at his home and faces 12 counts of possession of child poography, police said.

Police say they started investigating Bowen after receiving a ”CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The Milton Police Department executed a search warrant on Bowen's home and found child poographic images on a laptop and USB device.

"The investigation is ongoing and we will update the community as new information is available," said Milton Police Chief Rich Austin. "It's through partnerships with organizations like the NCMEC that local law enforcement are better positioned to protect and serve some of our most vulnerable residents, our children."

Bowen was taken into custody without incident.
