Marietta police officer Sgt. Patrick Byrd arrested
COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A Marietta police sergeant has been taken off the streets in light of a recent arrest.
Sgt. Patrick Byrd was arrested earlier this this month on domestic violence, disorderly conduct and trespassing charges, Cherokee County deputies told Channel 2’s Ross Cavitt.
A Marietta police representative confirmed that Byrd has been placed on administrative leave. He bonded out of jail but is off the streets while authorities investigate.
