Atlanta police are looking for the person behind a shooting at a hotel in southwest Atlanta early Thursday, November 11.

ATLANTA - Police are searching Thursday moing for a gunman who opened fire at a Country Inn Suites hotel in southwest Atlanta.

Atlanta police say the man approached two men around 2:30 a.m. as they pulled into the hotel on Pollard Boulevard.

The victims told police the man asked them for change, then pulled out a gun and shot one of them in the stomach.

The suspect then hopped in the victims' red Toyota Camry and took off.

The victim who was shot was last reported to be in critical but stable condition at Grady Hospital.
