A man was shot as Clayton County police officers attempted to serve a warrant Friday afteoon, police said.

The shooting happened at a home on Highway 138 and Fielder Road sometime before 3 p.m. A Clayton County police representative said officers serving the warrant ”experienced resistance, and ”one person was shot.

Police have not identified the person shot, but the representative said there are no indications that any officers were shot.

Georgia Newsday was at the home, where county officers, SWAT agents and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation were in the area. Officers led at least four people in handcuffs from the home into an RV.

Officials did say what originally brought them to the home, but neighbors said off-camera that they have complained for some time about suspected illegal activity.
