Lumpkin County deputy Adrian Martinez Jr fired after arrest following domestic dispute
A Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office detention officer was fired after his arrest following a domestic dispute, authorities said.
Adrian Martinez Jr. was arrested after deputies responded Feb. 2 to a home on Robinhood Drive in Lumpkin County, Georgia, the sheriff’s office said. Deputies determined there was probable cause to take Martinez into custody and he was immediately terminated, officials said.
Martinez is charged with false imprisonment and simple battery, according to the sheriff’s office. He was released from the Lumpkin County Detention Center after posting bond.
