A SNAP of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter has sparked fury online over speculation the infant's eyebrows have been waxed.

On Monday, Kardashian posted the latest picture of her and West's first child, North, to Instagram, with the simple caption, "SMILE."

The picture showed the adorable six-month-old gnawing on a fluffy white blanket, and was met with an initial rush of coos from her 11 million-plus followers.

But the tone soon changed. Fans and haters alike became fixated on baby Nori's eyebrows, debating whether or not they had been waxed, especially when compared to another picture from November.

For her part, the proud mother called the allegations, through a spokesman, "completely false," and then later tweeted about the controversy.
