Judge adds 25 years to convicted killer Jonathan Bun's sentence
Jonathan Bun

A judge has added 25 years to a life sentence for a teen who killed a Clayton County deputy, the Clayton News Daily reports.

A jury convicted 18-year-old Jonathan Bun last week for an armed robbery that ultimately led to the deputy's death.

He was sentenced to life earlier this year for gunning down Deputy Richard Daly in  July 2011.

Daly attempted to arrest the teen for the armed robbery when Bun opened fire.

Bun has a checkered criminal past.

Prosecutors could not seek the death penalty because Bun was 16 years old when he killed the deputy.
