Jquante Crews: Man Accused of Murder Waives Hearing
Jquante Crews

Jquante Crews waived his bond hearing Thursday as police continue to look for the gunman who killed boxing champion Veon Forrest.

Police believe Crews was the escort and driver for the two men involved in the robbery and shooting of Forrest.

"Crews has been charged with murder, felony murder, aggrevated assult, armed robbery, possession of a fire arm by a convicted felon and possession of a fire arm during the commission of a felon," said Atlanta Police Department's Lt. Keith Meadows.

Crews is waiting on a pending drug charge and he has served time for being convicted of theft.

Investigators said the trail is still hot for the suspect considered to be the triggerman in the shooting.
