Jamie Lynn Sanborn identified as victim in fatal pedestrian accident on I-575
The Georgia State Patrol has identified the woman struck and killed by a driver on Interstate 575 in Cherokee County.
According to the GSP, Jamie Lynn Sanbo of Ball Ground was in the left travel lane of Interstate 575 at around 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday when she was hit by a Nissan Altima traveling southbound on I-575.
The driver of the Altima, 22-year-old Kyla Nicole Reinagel of Acworth, stopped at the scene. No charges have been filed in the incident, say police. They did say blood was drawn to determine if alcohol was involved.
