MARIETTA, GA - Cobb County Police said a husband has been charged with felony murder after his wife was found dead in Marietta

Investigators say 64-year-old Donny Eaton is facing felony murder and aggravated assault charges in the death of his wife 66-year-old Roxanne Eaton.

A spokesperson with Cobb County police said they received a call from Floyd County Emergency Communications Center requesting a welfare check on 66-year-old Roxanne Eaton. When officers arrived at the home located in the 900 block of Liberty Hill Road NE, they found Roxanne Eaton dead, according to authorities.

Cobb County Police said the woman's husband Donny Eaton tued himself into authorities in Bartow County and has been transferred to the Cobb County Jail where he is being held without bond.  

The exact cause of death is unknown at this time.
