Houston Schools Remember Sullivent Sisters
Leslie and Bridget Sullivent

As a soccer and softball player, Leslie Sullivent, was the school's most "motivational" athlete, her Veterans High School coaches say.

Her 11-year-old sister, Bridget, recently started to help manage the high school soccer team, and coaches say the two were best friends.

Friends, teachers and staff in two Houston County schools today are mouing the two sisters, who died after a Wednesday night wreck on Highway 96 in Bonaire.

Leslie Sullivent was a 17-year-old junior at Veterans. Bridge Sullivent, age 11, was a sixth grader at Mossy Creek Middle School.

School officials say they plan memorial services for the two girls, probably within several weeks.

The Heritage Memorial Funeral Home says the girls' funeral will be held Tuesday, March 15 at 4 p.m. at Second Baptist Church on Moody Road.

Visitation will be Monday, March 14 from 7 to 9 p.m., also at Second Baptist Church.

Houston County school employees have also started a fund to help the Sullivent family. To contribute, checks would be made out to Kelly Segars with "Sullivent Family" written on the memo line. One may donate at any area CB&T Bank, according to a news release from the school district.
