Housesitter’s note: ‘Welcome home. Don’t look under the back deck’

DO you wonder what housesitters do when you are out for the night? A reddit user, Sosomething, has posted a note left by his/her house sitter that has gone viral on social media.

It is weird to put it mildly, yet funny and Sosomething, is non-plussed, happy to have him sit over when he next goes out.

The note was left by the housesitter for the homeowner when he got home.

It includes a series of strange events, which allegedly happened while the homeowner was away and ends with the chilling waing: ‘Don't look under the back deck (the noises will subside)'.

No-one knows if the housesitter had been smoking or taking an illegal drug. He certainly has a wonderful sense of imagination.

He writes that he hurt himself using the homeowner's trampoline and how a neighbour came by to ask for soap — ‘do not trust'.

It gets even more weird when he writes that a bird came and perched itself on a fence and how he offered to play backgammon with it. Later, the bird retus and asks him to soap.

He also said that their silverware tasted confusing so had run some tests on it.

The homeowner, as stated, saw the funny side of the note.

'I'm sure he was trolling us. He's the kind of person I trust to watch over my house and my dogs while we're out of town,” sosomething said on Reddit.

'I talked to him while we were driving home — he didn't mention the note but it was totally normal. I think he just left it as a joke for us to find.”
