Hearing for Woman Accused of Killing Daughter-in-Law
A grand jury indicted Joanna Hayes on charges of gunning down 25-year-old Heather Allen Strube in a Snellville parking lot.

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - A woman accused of killing her daughter-in-law is expected to appear before a Gwinnett County judge Friday.

A motion hearing is scheduled for Joanna Hayes.

Hayes was indicted on charges that she gunned down Heather Allen Strube, 25, in a Target parking lot in Snellville.

Just before the shooting, Strube met her estranged husband in the lot to exchange custody of their son.

After the husband drove away, police believe Hayes shot and killed her daughter-in-law in front of the child.
