Hampton Man James Kelley II Accused Of Secretly Filming Neighbors

HAMPTON, Ga. -- A Hampton man is accused of being a peeping Tom. Hampton police said they caught him trying to run from the home of a victim.

James Kelley II was charged after officers found his camera filled with recordings of women, police said.

Kelley’s neighbor, Kralphy Williams, said she called police Monday night after she caught him in the act. She said she found a masked man standing outside her house just before midnight. She said he disappeared, but she found a camera on the ground.

"One lady was like in her kitchen, looks like maybe doing something in her kitchen. She had on panties and a T-shirt. He was filming that," Williams told Channel 2’s Amy Napier Viteri.

Williams said there were also several videos that appeared to be of women outside.

"A couple ladies were having lunch, and he was filming their breasts. They had on low-cut shirts," she said.

Police said Kelley, who works as a security guard, may be connected to other incidents. Hampton police Capt. Derrick Austin said the department has received several calls from neighbors regarding a prowler.

"We have received calls in that area, maybe the past year, just random calls of a prowler, so we're trying to tie and see if maybe this is the same subject," Austin said.

Kelley was being held at the Henry County Jail.
