Hall County man Brandon Nix arrested for allegedly attacking jogger
A man has been arrested after a woman was allegedly kidnapped while jogging Sunday.
According to the Hall County Sheriff's Office, a Hispanic female, 17, told deputies she was abducted while jogging around Barrett Road and Truelove Road. She said she was taken by a white male.
Investigators identified the perpetrator as 27-year-old Brandon Nix. They say Nix placed the teen inside his vehicle and took her to a residence near Truelove Road and Wood Creek Place. Investigators say Nix took her inside and sexually assaulted her.
The victim managed to escape and fled on foot to her home where she called 911.Nix has been charged with kidnapping, sexual battery and aggravated sodomy. He's being held at the Hall County jail with no bond
