Greenville police arrest 59 in prostitution sting

Greenville Police released information Tuesday that 59 people were arrested in a four day prostitution sting. 33 of them were "Johns", 25 were prostitutes, and one was arrested as a pimp for aiding and abetting. 

The sting lasted from August 13th to August 16th. 

The total number of charges issued were 69. $4,397.00 was seized along with one handgun. There was also 3 grams of Methamphetamine, 1.5 grams of DU Alprazolam, and 3.8 grams of an unknown substance. The unknown substance is to be determined pending lab analysis results.
