A Georgia woman accused of hiring a hit man to kill her husband on Valentine's Day in 2010 has pleaded guilty to a murder charge.

The Times of Gainesville reports (http://bit.ly/11taGrE) that Stacey Schoeck on Monday pleaded guilty to murder malice with forethought and was sentenced to life without parole.

Authorities have described the case as a murder-for-hire plot.

Authorities say 42-year-old Richard Schoeck of Snellville was killed as he waited for his wife, Stacey, at a park in the small town of Lula to exchange gifts.

Reginald Coleman previously pleaded guilty in the shooting death of Richard Schoeck. Authorities say Coleman was paid $10,000 to kill Richard Schoeck.
