ORLANDO, Fla. -- Authorities said a Georgia teen died after falling five floors from an Orlando hotel.

Orange County Fire Rescue responded to the Friday incident at the Hilton Orlando. Guests by the hotel's pool reported hearing a loud thump and then searched the area until they found 19-year-old Shane Mosley. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office reports that Mosley was on vacation with his family.

Authorities said it appears he fell from a shared balcony, but investigators were still trying to figure out how the fall occurred.
