The man accused of killing five people inside a home near LaGrange has been arrested in Mississippi.

Investigators captured Thomas Lee, 26, in Tupelo, Mississippi. Police believe he killed his wife and four other people.

WCBI-TV reported that Lee was captured at a bus station around 4:30 p.m. on Monday after receiving a tip.

Troup County sheriff's deputies went to a home late Saturday night at the request of co-workers of the homeowner, William Burtron. Burtron, 69, had missed a couple of days of work, and his co-workers were worried about him, said Sgt. Stewart Smith.

When deputies arrived, the doors of the home were locked, so deputies asked firefighters to help them break through a door. When they entered the home, deputies found the bodies of William Burtron; his wife Sheila Burtron, 68; their daughter Christie Lee, approximately 33; Christie Lee's daughter Bailey Burtron, 16; and family friend Iiaonna Green, 18.

The suspect was the husband of Christie Lee. Four of the victims had been shot, deputies said. No weapon was found.

Anyone with any information about this case is asked to call the Troup County Sheriff's Office at (706) 883-1616 or Crime Stoppers at (706) 812-1000.
