Georgia man Arthur Wayne Singleton facing federal fraud charges
Police indicted a 62 year old Luthersville, Ga man for fraud involving federal contracts reserved for service-disabled veterans.
Investigators arraigned Arthur Wayne Singleton in federal court on Wednesday. Prosecutors say he obtained the contracts under false pretenses.
Court papers show that Singleton obtained $2.85 million worth of contracts using the veteran's status although the veteran performed no work and did not have an ownership stake in Singleton's companies.
Singleton is charged with 14 counts of wire fraud and one count of major fraud against the U.S.
