Georgia couple Robert and Lendene Dendy’s deaths called murder-suicide
Newton County authorities are calling a double fatal shooting Monday night a murder-suicide.
Robert and Lendene Dendy were found shot inside their home in the 200 block of Stone Ridge Way near Covington.
Mr. Dendys wounds were self-inflicted, Newton County Sheriffs Office spokeswoman Deputy Cortney Morrison told the Atlanta Joual-Constitution, citing an autopsy report from the GBI.
Lendene Dendy was a third-grade teacher at Live Oak Elementary School.
Investigators have not been able to determine a motive.
