GA lawmakers look to eliminate Common Core
The Common Core curriculum is taking center stage and legislators are working to reintroduce a bill to eliminate the new educational initiative from Georgia schools.
Critics say it's important for Georgia to be able to control its own educational standards but not everybody agrees.
Advocates say if the bill to get rid of Common Core passes, establishing new curriculum standards will be time consuming and costly, supporters of the idea say it's a sacrifice that has to be made.
