Fulton Jail Ex-Deputy Marvie Trevino Dingle Pleads Guilty Over Bribes
An ex sheriff's deputy pleaded guilty on Tuesday to taking bribes to smuggle cocaine into the Fulton County Jail, the latest county official nabbed by a growing federal investigation into the troubled facility.
Marvie Trevino Dingle could be sentenced to decades in federal prison after pleading guilty to taking bribe to funnel the drug to an inmate at the jail. He also pleaded guilty to separate charges of accepting a bribe to help smuggle the drug to a north Atlanta suburb.
