Fulton Assistant D.A. shooting suspect Tranard McConnell found dead

An Assistant D.A. with the Fulton County District Attoey's office is in critical condition after being shot on Friday moing. Authorities say the man suspected in the case has been 'located' dead. 

According to Fulton County District Attoey Paul Howard, April McConnell is in critical condition at Grady Memorial Hospital. 

Howard confirmed the shooting from Tucson, AZ where he is on business. Sources say Tranard McConnell, a man considered a suspect in the case, has been located. He was found dead at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The circumstances around his death are not yet clear. 

According to Atlanta Police, the shooting happened on the 2300 block of Fairway Circle around 11 a.m. Two people were shot during the incident. The other victim has not been identified, at this time. Authorities say multiple shots were fired into McConnell's vehicle, and she was struck several times. 

The shooting is believed to be domestic.
