Freshman Dustin England's Facebook post reveals alleged school shooting plot
Dustin England

A Paulding County teen is accused of posting threats on Facebook about a high school shooting.

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office said another student’s parent alerted authorities of the alleged plan around 10 p.m. Tuesday. The student said a classmate threatened to shoot multiple students at Hiram High School on Wednesday.

”In light of recent school shootings and other types of violence on school campuses worldwide, we take all threats seriously, Sheriff Gary Gulledge said.

Detectives interviewed Hiram High freshman Dustin England, whom they say confessed to the plot. England, 17, was charged with making terroristic threats, a felony. He is being held at the Paulding County Detention Center with no bail.
