Federal court officials in Atlanta have ordered former Gwinnett County Commissioner Shirley Lasseter to report to prison.

Federal authorities say she must begin serving her 33-month sentence at a federal prison in Florida by December 12.  Lasseter pleaded guilty to corruption charges in May.

Lasseter admitted to accepting $36,000 in bribes in exchange for her vote in a real estate development.  Lasseter's son and another man also pleaded guilty in the case, and each was sentenced to nearly five years in prison.
