Charles Woodall, 34, was arrested Monday on multiple counts of child molestation and other charges.

Macon County police say they arrested and charged a recently-resigned Georgia Bureau of Investigations agent with multiple counts of child molestation.

Charles Woodall, 34, resigned from his position on Oct. 7 after a criminal investigation was launched by the GBI and Bibb County District Attoey’s Office.

Woodall was charged with nine counts of child molestation, six counts of enticing a child for indecent purposes, one count of electronically fuishing obscene material to minors, and one count of violation of oath of office.

Woodall was arrested at his family’s home in Knoxville, Tennessee by Tennessee Bureau of Investigation Agents and GBI Agents.

Woodall was booked into the Knox County Jail where he is awaiting extradition to Georgia.
