Fire leaves 7 DeKalb County families homeless

ATLANTA — A fire at a DeKalb County apartment building has left seven families homeless.

The Atlanta Joual-Constitution reports that fire destroyed several units at the Brannon Hill Apartments complex on Brannon Hill Road in Clarkston.

Authorities told GA Daily News that none of the residents were injured. A fire fighter received medical attention after complaining of dizziness.

The Red Cross said it has provided lodging and food to 18 adults and 18 children who were displaced.

The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
