Fire Destroys Norcross Bridal Shop
Fire burned through a Norcross bridal shop, destroying the gowns of many brides-to-be.

NORCROSS, Ga. - A bridal shop in Norcross went up in flames, likely leaving many brides-to-be scrambling for new dresses.

Fire officials say the blaze broke out at Aleysa’s Bridal Shop on Jimmy Carter Boulevard early Friday moing.

The exact cause of the fire hasn’t been determined just yet, but fire officials say a preliminary investigation revealed that the blaze may have been sparked by an iron that was left on. They do say they believe it was accidental.

Firefighters say heavy damage was done to the business, and much of what was inside was destroyed. No one was inside the business when the flames sparked, and no one was hurt.
