Fayetteville man Terry Davis charged in stabbing death of ex-girlfriend
A man is accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death in Fayetteville.
Fayette County deputies responded to a disturbance call on Friday, where they discovered 29-year-old Jessica Tolbert suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Tolbert was rushed to the hospital, where she later died.
Witnesses said they saw Terry Davis leaving the scene just before deputies arrived.
The couple had recently separated.
Davis has been charged with murder and is in Fayette County Jail.
